Title:  T-Bird Toss
Description:  And it wouldn't be the 16 without a buzzer beater...D-2 final at the Aud...final moment of the third quarter...Missisquoi's Ben Fournier lets it fly from half court and gets nothing but the bottom of the net. You kind of feel like it's going to be your night when shots like this one fall...and it was for the Thunderbirds who go on to win the Division Two championship

vtboomer Ben also hit 2 30-yard rockets in soccer: one an upper 90 overtime winner in the rain, one underside-of-the -crossbar game-winner about 2 minutes in at Mt Abe. With precision and power, you make your own luck!

VT_Lifer I was there - it was NOT all luck. Ben is a CONSISTENTLY solid outside shooter. With that much arc and accuracy, there is no way you can say it was all luck; it was a great shot and a great buzzer-beating moment!
